Canadian Rockies
The Canadian Rockies has a new regional specialist council to support our local teachers around inclusive education practices. In our organizational year, we would love to hear from you as to what possible opportunities, motivations and leadership opportunities the council might provide for personal and collective professional growth.
After the strategic planning meeting in February, the Canadian Rockies Regional Council developed a plan to offer regional educators Technological Support in the Inclusive Classroom. Joni Turville will be joining us, from the ATA, to offer an interactive presentation (click here for details). Please join your local council meeting at Canmore Collegiate High School for our May 2nd meeting (after the workshop 5:30-6:00) to discuss 2012-2013 PD opportunities for Canadian Rockies Regional Educators.
Each ATA member (teachers) has the opportunity to choose membership in one specialist council for no charge. The cost for associate membership is $25! Click here to sign up for your free membership.
